hotpot!!!

Today my Swedish flatmates told me they going gym so I tag along. Thought it would be a great way to kill the extra boring time I have in the evening. What a shock I had!!! They had to pay 600rmb for gym and pool facilities because they are undergoing training by professionals. What crap is that. To swim alone, is 400rmb for like “supervision and rental” of pool space. OMG the ang mohs are so good to be cheated of $$$. No wonder Chinese vendors flock to them when we walk past stalls. However back o the point, to use facilities in the condo where I’m staying is really absurd in my opinion. No way was I gonna spend that kinda money. So off I went, walked back home alone.

Well dinner was hotpot with Ricky and Khoo, who are like the energy of the factory cox surprisingly, a factory shld be the strongest but the managers lack knowledge, drive, attitude, something which is so prevalient in Singapore, but not here. Top down, if they are so negative and lazy, what can you expect from the lower levels eh? Had a long talk about work and business politics, generic comments on the workers here, even managers. Guess we click well cause Ricky was a former ET from HK, Khoo is operations manager in Malaysia and plant manager here now. Can you imagine the Chinese managers here don’t even know how to do simple reports and spread sheets? Wonder what they do everyday lolxxxxxxxx…….anyway it was my first try at hotpot. Found it oily and they removed about 2 rice bowls of oil, but it was still alittle spicy for me, but pretty alright. The meatballs were nice, with fillings inside.

You know I always thought if you’re in Singapore and contacting anyone overseas, it should be standard local charges. But I was wrong. You have to pay slightly more. So there goes one way of communication.

Blog would be our most cost effective manner of updates. Din appreciate it in the beginning as I tot it was like waste of time, take back my thoughts now hehe.

Current music played is Zhang Shao Han’s “yi shi de mei hao”…….

Tot about our dolphin days…..

Love you lots, signing off….
