y is work so complicated??? Just when i thought managing my energy to a lower level so as not to be seen as stepping on too many people's toes or outshining them was tough, my own Princess is in no better a position herself. From filling up the CEO's PA temp post till being offered a position as a PA permanently, i mean just what are they thinking??? What career advancement/opportunities could that entail? Furthermore such a position does'nt even require a degree, least to say someone who studied overseas. *sigh... Now the best part is they gonna open another position for her cox she has potential and stuff and gonna think of another title for her, with some minor involvement as CEO's PA. Is this just another title or genueine? This is gonna be another transition for you dear. Lots is gonna happen, from goingback to HR or new title or even out job hunting again. i'm sorry i cannot be physically by your side during this period as i'm going to complete my final training in 6days time. Nevertheless this blog is going to be a great source of communication for us, in different country and different time zone. Once i return, the future ahead would shift in greater speed for us. arrival of baby Zalliot!!! A Sunday morning & I was still Zzz... away when my hp beeped. I tot it was bebe checking to see if i'm awake for our badminton game. When i saw my hp, I immedately woke up with joy. Called bebe to tell him about the good news and we headed down to hospital after lunch to see the new born Zalliot. He is so CUTE!!! His every little expression on his face just made me smile. Oh & his birth date is on 26, haha.... so easy to remember becos his birthday will always be 1mth after mine. So can i be his god-ma? since we share the same 26? heehee... and he is born in the year of pig, & i like piggy too. hahahaa...... Anyway Congrats to Mummy Angelynn & Daddy Donny! so happy for the both of ya, the arrival of Baby Zalliot, definately will add so much joy to the both of ya. phew. big relief!! part 2 Todae we went out, i did nt drive cox i jux washed my car and it rained. Anyway luckily did'nt drive also. We went to so many place. Went to outram, had a foot reflexology which sucked. I know it suxs cox my legs has been going for foot massage for the past 10yrs. So disappointed. Thought chinatown would have good uncles there. Oh well...... anyway finally bought my Samsonite Laptop haversack, courtesy of Princess Chong, with a universal adaptor, a nice advance birthday gift. Thou not the most expensive, i prefer pratical presents. Suprises are nice but when you dun really need it and leave it as a white elephant, it think it's a bigger suprise eh hehe... From chinatown, we walked to clark quay central, adelphi centre to see some nice HTS, went to city hall for dinenr and a pizza place whose food is so-so, wanted to go see fireworks but the crowd at city hall was terrible, imagine marina area. Went through citylink as well, looking for winter jackets and we finally decided to head home. The Lai family. Well, today was the day and everyone took it well. Of course Papa Lai was'nt a talkative natured person but he smiled. My mum was all excited and asking me when =, how i proposed, etc...... and my older sis was suprised and glad for me. My younger sis was in disbelief, asking me "zhun bo". Guess we all seems like little kids in our parents eyes but when we take the next step out, for i'm the first in both my dad's and mum's side, she took awhile to digest. We "celebrated" with a glass of inniskilin gold reserve ice wine that cost $100+, a DFS rate!!! But it was worth it, better than wat we tasted at mohd sultan when we last went for dinner with Donny and peeps. Phew! Big Relief! Dad came back from China & we met him over the weekend for dinner. As usual we went home for a nice home cook dinner and my dad told me that my elder cousin will be getting married in Nov. I wanted to tell him Jordan & I are getting married too, but I didn't have the courage to do so, becos i wasn't sure what his reaction will be. After dinner we talked about work and other things and Bebe kept looking at me & I looked back at him, in our hearts we were thinking should we say now??? Finally, bebe took the courage and told my dad that he has proposed to me and we will be getting married next year. I was surprise that my dad took it well, bebe said dad eyes was a bit teary. He said as long as we must understand each other, trust each other and bebe must treat me good, he will have no worries at all. I can see my dad likes Jordan very much, each time he comes back Spore he will always asked about him, check what he likes to eat, invite him over for dinnner. Bebe.... u pass my dad test already! I'm bullied by a dog Work has been rough enough, just when i tot i can go home and i have good rest, "Lucky" - my cousin's dog, didn't make things any easier for me. He poo poo and pee in the kitchen & kept barking none stop the moment i entered the house. He kept barking and barking and i didn't know whats wrong with him. I quickly called my cousin and she said to bring him out of the house to let him poo. I did as i was told. Upon finishing his business, he ran into the house quickly, usually back into the kitchen, BUT HE DID NOT!!!!! instead he ran into our room and pee on my mattress!!!!! *faint* by the time i ran after him, i was too late... I was so angry with Lucky and told him I will not talk to him anymore. He usually doesn't do that. Maybe because I never scold him and be angry with him before, hence he bullied me. Bebe was still downstairs and I screamed from the 8th floor and asked for help! While he handles Lucky, i quickly clean up his mess in the kitchen. Not long after, my cousin came home and gave him a good scolding. After this whole drama, i really have second tots keeping a dog now. I know Lucky is old le, maybe he can't control, maybe he is just being playful. But all i know is i have to spend $$$ again to buy my mattress. @ 1:18 PM
