end of 2007 Ok, so Xmas eve was a dramatic experience where i signed OTP for a house. Can't believe it. Of course burn a big hole in my pocket. But well i did tell Princess i want to give her a roof over her head, a place to call her own instead of staying all over the place but her own home. Am glad i fulfilled my promise to her. Just 3 days... Since the balloting results was disappointing, we have decided to try the open market for resale flats. Guess wat? we found one within 3 days!!! Of cos there is a price to pay for it compared to getting from HDB directly. It was a big headache making this decision & my dear has been under a lot of stress... (from his temper i know already, never seen him like that before) The upfront $$$ is already a big headache, & after making the OTP we must really really start saving. No more resturants, entertainments, spending as we like, all no no & cannot anymore. This thing is for real now, we are going to have our own home & buying a flat is not so easy. As we listen to different people & agents & all the $$$ involved, it really gets quite complicated. Althought days ahead might be tough, I'm really very happy to finally call a place my home with my Bebe. We will build our love nest together & make it into a lovely cozy one. Dear.... i just want to thank you for everything & we will get thru this together. This is the most expensive christmas present for ourselves & indeed a memorable one spending 2pm - 9.30pm at Bukit Gombak :-)  Friday, December 21, 2007 @ 6:06 PM
Disappointed again... HDB has once again disppointed us without fail. So much so that we want to start a family together & we can't get a flat from them. Haiz... this time round the balloting, we've told ourselves not to put on so much hope, & the heart was feeling so heavy all these while. The results were out today & not to our surprise, our Q no. was 1433... Bloody hell only 300+ flats, how to get??? The more i think, the more angry i get. SMS a friend of mine who is a real estate agent. She said without atleast 20K cash, very hard to get a resale flat too. That news was bad & my head & heart felt worse. Damn it.... this place is getting populated with people. The Island so small still want to squeeze so many people.... Why can't they just build more house!!! so that all of us gets a roof over our heads. We have been going over & over with this housing issues many many times & i strongly feel that HDB has no idea what we are going through. All they know is how to suck people's $10 each time. dempsey hill Today went there to take some pictures and video on lion dance for my company so that tey can decide if this troupe is to be used. On the way there, place has changed so much from the last itme i went there, probably like 2yrs back, but i think is pretty expensive there.  It was for the opening of a designer clothe store. I dun think normal ppl will go there to buy lor, just see the place for yourself and you judge ba.    Anyway..............NE balloting is open today but but but............. i think very slim chance cause there's only slightly over 300 units available and guess what's the number of application? 1400!!!!!! So you think got chance anot? >.<

farewell dinner for my thailand staff Galore galore.....sushi teh galore. Dessert was also good but eat so happy till forget to take pics hehe. Well jux some simple pics of a dinner we had at the vivo outlet. Started Q-ing at 5.45pm and only managed ot get a seatr and start ordering at 6.30pm. Wow!!!     And the nice "little" xmas tree standing on the top.  |
