Birthday Week!!! heehee....

Last week was my birthday and i have been eating and eating... My cousin treated me to Miramar Jap Buffet and we had so much sashimi!!! *yummy yummy* It was a very good meal, and inbetween the staff like to give complimentary food that is not on the meal.
One Happy gal with her sashimi!
My One Slice of Birthday Cake - Strawberry Short Cake from Bakerzin. Thanks Bebe! :)
I was almost falling asleep on my bed and suddenly both my cousins came in singing happy birthday song and brought in a mini cake and a candle on it. I was so shocked till i was fully awake! It was indeed a surpised for me. My cousin bought me a green cardi from GG5, so pretty and the green is so me. heehee... Thanks Sis!
We went Ritz on Sat, loved the place, but was disappointed with the service. The lady who served us was so superficial, it felt like she is only willing to serve rich clients & nothing was negotiable too. No Doubt the suite was breathtaking but seriously the service could be better.
Ooo..... we found this wonderland at Millenia Walk. On the 2nd floor right to the other end of Harvey Norman. I think the place is called SPACE. Found so many furnitures we like, BUT all starts with 5 digits!!! *faint* All these are designers furnitures, no wonder so nice lah! price also so nice too. But atleast we manage to get a few concepts and ideas to our new home.
The "spider lamp"
This sofa nice right? The shape very cute!
Another concept of Walk-in Wardrobe, quite idea right?
Dining Table with pretty cool purple chairs!
Haha... Kitchen my fav part, We love the titles at the back.
RETRO FRIDGE!!! but super Ex. but i super like leh :P
save money save money save money!!!
Finally meet up with Aree and Connie!!! So happy to see them, it was a good catch up session and all of us had a good dinner at SPIZZA. The pizzas were really good and we all love the Salmon Pizza & the Chili Chicken ones *Slurp* thinking of it makes me hungry le.... Too hungry, I forgot to take the photos of the Pizzas. heehee... and our guys finally get to see each other too. The funny and linguistic Eugene, my all time favourite Bebe, and the long time no see Jenson.
& cos not forgetting their very sweet and pretty girlfriends! :)

And yesterday we had a family dinner at Grand Copthorne Hotel, International Buffet. It was really good too. I wish my birthday week was longer.....

first steps in china

For the first went to China for a short business trip. Heard about how well developed Shanghai is and how it was replicating itself towards Singapore's standard. Hence was expecting pretty high standards but was disappointed. Waited 45mins for cab in the open, so hot and pollution bad and i swear the chinese there are one of the loudest and rudest i've come across. Had it not been the fact i was in foreign soil, i would have sure blow my top.
Well, enuf unhappiness, some pictures to paint my first journey....

now when was the last time i took a plane.....
if rain can still take off?
why chinese taxis need this protector?
wah thier house so stylo?
another stylo aprtment
hotel room was above my expectation
nice basin
chk out the cool weighing machine

Saw some other interesting stuff as well, but not reali in the mood to take pics.

Best part of this whole trip is............... it befalls on Princess's birthday.

Part 2 - Living room

Well, here's the next sequal of pictures and concepts.

Ironically, yesterdae's papers, Home section Pg 7 talks about an article about people thou getting market level pay still have in sufficient to spend after spending on housing, and could be a possible problem that people start leaving the roost, or homes with parents in search of the transition from childhood to adulthood due to living standards of living.
Currently Singapore is the 14th most expensive city ot live in the world and come this friday, there's going to be a special report on the property boom, to cover mainly on the increase in private property and HDB, and also the trend ahead.
Work hard ......................... or work smart?
