dedicated to annoymous

To annonymous - Personally even when i travel by train to city/CBD 9 yrs ago, unfortunately scenarios like this occurs too often. The last time i took train daily was prolly 9yrs ago and recently took train once just for novelty's sake to town as well.

I believe, the direction of the train ride is not important. Why? Bescause the S'pore census has published that citizens are getting more educated with a minimum of tertirary level, compared to the greying population of Singapore. Even if you don't read the papers, i'm sure you've heard people commenting that" nxt time degree would be the norm" & Singapore is aiming to be a education hub. All this points to a fact that Singaporeans are indeed, more educated.

Hence your "2cts" worth of tagging which tried to pinpoint whether the train direction in which it was taken, whether it was to or away from city, is kinda irrelevant. This is because are you indirectly saying that people taking train towards the heartlands are educated?

Perhaps my Princess's english ain't as tactful as yours, or perhaps i read alittle too deep into your "friendly 2cts". My point to you this is: no doubt this is a free world, with the internet having no boundaries and this blog specially established for our close friends to share the wonderful journey me and my Princess are walking through, i would appreciate that your correction of people's english is not really called for. =)

Close friends won't be so "2cts" and it would be nice to know who you are, for annoyomity seems like hiding behind naked walls. Just my 3cts to you.

Dear, hope you recover soon and i'll love and protect you always.

The ugly side of people

As i travel to work by MRT these days, i do see more & more nasty side of people, & the irritating things that they do. I totally agree with Angie like how some uneducated people refuse to give their seats to pregnant ladies. This pregnant lady came into the MRT and everyone else was busy talking away, sleeping or just staring blankly at her.... HELLOoooooo!!!!! can anyone see she is pregnant? For that moment everyone seems to be BLIND!!! is it? Her tummy was so big & i think she is at the stage where she can give birth anytime. I gave up my seat to her and when the moment i do that, everyone seems to be looking at me. In my mind i was thinking shameful on all of you, giving up a seat is not that difficult. Of cos i understand after work everyone is tried and just want a seat, but who can be as tiring as a pregnant lady who is carrying a weight at the tummy all day long? these unhelpful ppl are just absolutely idiots!

Then there are also people who loves to stand at the door. When the MRT reaches the station, these "standing door people" refuse to move in or step out to let others get onto or out the train. They think they are pole is it??? I can see people are literally squeezing through them. I mean, the train also won't run away, y can't they just step aside? y are people so hack care about what happening around them?? i really don't understand and really pissed me off.

My poor bebe has to work today(sunday), anyway i'm sick, so also good that i rest at home. Sore throat, cough, headache, fever all came to visit me for a few days until i went to see a doctor yesterday. Cost me $52, these medicines better work, if not i scare my bebe will burn down the clinic, becos they made us wait for the doctor so long, waited until he was so pissed off with them. hahahaha..... Don't worry dear, i will recover soon ok?

Oh ya, i finally found the yogurt!!! those super thick ones like greek yogurt. Aree i think you are going to love it too. One & only store in the new AMK interchange building. We used to eat that in Aussie every week & everytime each of us will have 1 big tub at home. But the AMK one is rather expensive, but is it damn nice.... *drool* thinking about it makes me wanna go eat now.

singapore........ a fine city.

Last friday celebrated father's day with dinner at Marina South seafood centre. When we came out, both me and daddy's car kena summopn of $6 for coupon expired 20mins. *sigh...

Today had dinner at punggol with Princess. Kway chup was not too bad, but sengkang one still nicer as we both agreed but the kuay bigger bowl, no need to order extra bowl. Carrot cake, as usual was nice. Dinner was short which lasted about 30mins, went back to the carpark, the bloody cisco officer just printed out my summon ticket. SO SUAY SIA!!!!! Slapped with a $30 fine. What a weekend i had and a start of a new week.

Comes to my mind a few things about Singapore (personal, not policitcal)

1) How many times we see vehicles parked downstairs of HDB for the longest hour but never
kena summon but me guai guai park at MSCP also kena.

2) Yes you may point that i did not put coupon, but frankly, everyone so guai put coupon
everywhere they go mah?

3) I put coupon, also kena caused exceeded timing. Today forgot to put, as Princess can vouch
usually i do and so suay suay......wah lau~!~!~!

4) People always complain heavy traffic here and there. Than why would COE prices drop so
much and car prices made so easily affordable nowadays? As a result, increase ERP, parking
in town (if you have'nt realise), increase summon warrants, basically increase all sorts of
manners and scrutiny to get extra $$$ from car owners.

I wonder overseas like Australia got so many people kena such parking offences anot. Gosh i was'nt even parking on double yellow line or something. $36 can really do alot lor, furthermore me and Princess on the high note of saving.

Let's see what $36 can do:

1) I can cut hair downstairts 3 times with spare for snack
2) It's about 4 days of meals with Princess
3) It's about 3/4 amount paid for a tank of petrol
4) I can buy another bag for Princess
5) I can buy 12 bowls of large size mee sua, which equates to 6 meals with Princess
6) Can watch 2 weekend movies with Princess
7) Buy a portable blender for Princess
8) Buy 3 tubes of shuttlecocks
9) Buy a pair of havianna (spelling right?) slippers
10) Top up my cashcard and last like around 2months
11) Buy $30 worth of coupon with spare left to buy snacks at the kiosk

................... & the list goes on..................................

*Sigh, dun belittle $36 cause you can do so much with it okay.

Singapore ................ a fine city.

dim sum on sunday

The dim sum wasn't was good as we expected. We went to Miramar Hotel for Dim Sumbuffet which i suggested because i remembered eating there a few years back, that was even before i went to Australia. Anyway... the food was so so only... but we both ate until so full.... Bebe was like must eat until it is worth it. I was so full till I didn't even have my dinner, just had 1 doughnut thats all.

Some dishes that we ordered. I couldn't take all the food pics at one time because the serving was pretty slow, hence have to wait whenever we finished. It was like round 1 eat & stop, then "ding ding" round 2, "ding ding" round 3... oh ya... the worst part, they no have EGG TARTS!!!! how can right??? Dim sum must have egg tarts one mah :(

2 blur sotong

For the past weekend, Princess & I had always been shopping for a small pillow to put behind her back in office cause it was not comfortable for her to work at due to egronomics. We search high and low, from Metro to neighbourhood area. Last night after dinner at Sengkang, decided to go AMK central to check it out. After stepping out from the car, walking abt 50m, it struck to me when i looked at Courts " Why din we think of going Ikea to find cushion huh?"

There we go, walked back to the car and drove to Tampiness Ikea.

-.-"

1 blur sotong

When i reached office, the first thing to do is of course sms my dar to let him know that i'm safe & sound, & the 2nd thing is to make my coffee in the pantry. I must have my coffee 1 doze a day to keep me awake for the morning! Yesterday dunno what i'm thinking, happily making the coffee and happily add water into the cup. Then i asked myself how come the coffee powder, creamer & sugar never dissolve??? Becos i add COLD WATER!!! how durh right? I dunno why i went to add cold water leh. My hand automatic just press the cold water button, & i just happily see the cold water flowing down into my cup. So in the end i keep stirring to dissolve the content and have a "cold coffee" instead of a usual hot one. As i drink it i still feel the powdery thingy in my mouth :P

Dream dream dream...

I've been dreaming almost everyday ever since I moved in with my cousin. Tired but always takes a long time to fall asleep. Bebe said he can start seeing my eye bags when i smile, which I don't use to have it last time. Damn... is either i'm getting older or the dreaming every night makes me hard to rest properly. I cannot stop growing old, but how to stop dreaming??? It is mentally very tired.
Sometimes i tell bebe my dreams & he just laughed at it. He said my dreams are weird & funny. I think he hear until don't want to hear liao. Oh ya i want to tell Angelynn i dreamed of her & Eunice. We went somewhere for holiday together & we bought ice-creams, Angie & Eunice keep saying cheap cheap very cheap only $4+ convert back to Spore only $0.70. Don't ask me where we went, i can't remember, i just remember u both keep telling me cheap cheap ice-cream. Then I went toilet & Eunice went for interview. When i came out, Eunice was discussing with me & Angie if she should take up the job or not, must give them an answer now & we have to fly back the next day. hahahaa.... again, dun ask me wat is the outcome, becos i can't remember, my dreams are weird. I told bebe, if i can remember all my dreams and write it out can compile into a book liao. Title: "Kelly weird dream, guarantee you will laugh your heads off!" Muahahahah......

a wonderful weekend

It was simple, enjoyable as usual and heartwarming. Attended Jeff's baby girl's 1 yr old birthday party on Sat and he really put in some efforts into making it memorable for his daughter (if she remembers) and his guests.

Handmade by Daddy!!!

While killing some time, went ot walk ard and decided to play some pool. Princess claims she dunno how to play lor but in the end......play till so much style but still i managed to win in the end hehe. Here's some nice PRO poses from the silent killer!

So many balls, hit which one first?

Ok, target on!

You think you can make me miss with such a tight position?

Wat a simple shot!

This particular setup, i did'nt want to take cause i felt the angle was nto sufficient to hit it in, but Princess say "Confirm can wan!!! You dun believe i hit and let you see it go in" Convinced, i let her take the shot for me but ................... did'nt go in of course =P

The only sleek shot of mine. Good things once enough liao =P

Two happy people, always ....

Sunday was eventful as well. Started off with badminton at 0930hrs (suprisingly and thank goodness Aree & Eugene were punctual hehe). At the rate we're going, so many shuttlecocks are destroyed after each game. Anyone goes near Queensway to buy some shuttlecocks?

After the game we met Angie & Donny, Amily & Ben for Shrek3 at Plaza Sing. Not too bad a cartoon. Some pics of the intense action during the badminton match!

Men's serious game...

Till Aree came along..........

Ladies have their serious moments as well Stretch to reach!

Simple return
