singapore........ a fine city. Last friday celebrated father's day with dinner at Marina South seafood centre. When we came out, both me and daddy's car kena summopn of $6 for coupon expired 20mins. *sigh... Today had dinner at punggol with Princess. Kway chup was not too bad, but sengkang one still nicer as we both agreed but the kuay bigger bowl, no need to order extra bowl. Carrot cake, as usual was nice. Dinner was short which lasted about 30mins, went back to the carpark, the bloody cisco officer just printed out my summon ticket. SO SUAY SIA!!!!! Slapped with a $30 fine. What a weekend i had and a start of a new week. Comes to my mind a few things about Singapore (personal, not policitcal) 1) How many times we see vehicles parked downstairs of HDB for the longest hour but never kena summon but me guai guai park at MSCP also kena. 2) Yes you may point that i did not put coupon, but frankly, everyone so guai put coupon everywhere they go mah? 3) I put coupon, also kena caused exceeded timing. Today forgot to put, as Princess can vouch usually i do and so suay suay......wah lau~!~!~! 4) People always complain heavy traffic here and there. Than why would COE prices drop so much and car prices made so easily affordable nowadays? As a result, increase ERP, parking in town (if you have'nt realise), increase summon warrants, basically increase all sorts of manners and scrutiny to get extra $$$ from car owners. I wonder overseas like Australia got so many people kena such parking offences anot. Gosh i was'nt even parking on double yellow line or something. $36 can really do alot lor, furthermore me and Princess on the high note of saving. Let's see what $36 can do: 1) I can cut hair downstairts 3 times with spare for snack 2) It's about 4 days of meals with Princess 3) It's about 3/4 amount paid for a tank of petrol 4) I can buy another bag for Princess 5) I can buy 12 bowls of large size mee sua, which equates to 6 meals with Princess 6) Can watch 2 weekend movies with Princess 7) Buy a portable blender for Princess 8) Buy 3 tubes of shuttlecocks 9) Buy a pair of havianna (spelling right?) slippers 10) Top up my cashcard and last like around 2months 11) Buy $30 worth of coupon with spare left to buy snacks at the kiosk ................... & the list goes on.................................. *Sigh, dun belittle $36 cause you can do so much with it okay. Singapore ................ a fine city. |
